Necessary preliminary work:
Clamp off BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD.
Remove LEFT
Removing And Installing/Renewing Inlet And Exhaust Adjustment
Units On Left Side (N63)

IMPORTANT: When the engine is shut down, the inlet and exhaust camshaft
adjuster is
normally locked in its initial position.
The situation may arise in some individual cases where this initial position is
not reached and the camshaft can continue to be rotated in the adjustment
range of the
