The AFGS system consists of the following components:

IMPORTANT: The BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD must be clamped off on vehicles with
AFGS
active pedestrian protection!
Do not damage adjoining body components!
Minor corrections (realignment work) are permitte

Check actuator for damage.

Only distilled water (available locally) is to be used when topping up the
electrolyte level.
If a new battery (delivered dry) is to be placed into service, use only battery
electrolyte ("sulfuric acid"),
available locally.

Long-range Radar Sensor
In terms of physical design, the long-range radar sensor (LRR) for ACC
Stop&Go in the F01/F02 is largely
identical to the one fitted in the E6x LCI.
Functionally, however, it differs from the sensor in the E6x LCI in that it also
