The AFGS system consists of the following components:

IMPORTANT: The BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD must be clamped off on vehicles with
AFGS
active pedestrian protection!
Do not damage adjoining body components!
Minor corrections (realignment work) are permitte

Check actuator for damage.

Warning
If the upper retaining strap is incorrectly used
for the child restraint system, the protective effect
can be reduced. There is a risk of injury.
Make sure that the upper retaining strap does not run over sharp edges and is
not twisted as
it passes the upper anchor.

Keyless Vehicle Access
Using Comfort Access, the customer can unlock and open the vehicle without
active use of the ID transmitter.
Access to the vehicle can be gained from any point. It is important that the ID
transmitter be located in the
vehicle's immediate vicinity (approximately 5 feet). It
