Remove DECORATIVE STRIP ON DASHBOARD IN MIDDLE
F07, F10, F11, F18:

Necessary preliminary work
Remove LEFT CYLINDER HEAD.
Remove RIGHT CYLINDER HEAD.
Remove ALL VALVES.
NOTE: Set of special tools 11 8 080 can be used for cylinder bank 1 to 4
and cylinder
bank 5 to 8.
Position special tool 11 8 081 on cylinder head.

Straightening Aluminium Components In Structure
Reshaping or heating extruded sections and cast parts is not
permitted!
Failure to comply with this requirement would have the following
results:
In the case of reshaping, weld seams (E52) or glued connections (E60, E61,
E63, E64) tear in the
surrounding area.
