Carrying Out Steering Angle Sensor Adjustment
IMPORTANT: In vehicles with active steering, steering angle sensor
adjustment is integrated
in the service function INITIAL OPERATION/ADJUSTMENT FOR ACTIVE
STEERING and must not be carried out separately!
NOTE: Steering angle sensor adjustment must be carried out:
after replacement of following c
Removing And Installing/Sealing Left Cylinder Head Cover (N63)
Necessary preliminary work
Remove ACOUSTIC COVER
Disconnect NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Remove left CHARGE AIR COOLER
Remove INTAKE FILTER HOUSING
Remove EXPANSION TANK.
Remove coolant pipe from cylinder head cover (E71 only)
Remove coolant valve for heater feed line
Disconnect FUEL FEED LINE
