Necessary preliminary work Remove RADIO AND IHKA CONTROLS Release screws (1). Tightening torque 61 31 2AZ. NOTE: Use special tool 00 9 450 to tighten screws. Remove fan (2) from IHKA controls (3). Installation note: Make sure pins (4) are correctly located on fan (2). Fig. 101: Identifying Fan

IMPORTANT: The BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD must be clamped off on vehicles with AFGS active pedestrian protection! Do not damage adjoining body components! Minor corrections (realignment work) are permitted if the existing adjustment options are not sufficient. Carry over schematic representation to the
