The luggage compartment lid can be unlocked and opened or closed from various
operating points. The

Outer luggage compartment lid

Remove AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Remove manual transmission
Remove clutch
Secure flywheel (1) with special tool 11 9 260.

Release flywheel screws in area (1).

Removing And Installing/Replacing An RDC Trigger Transmitter
(Front)
Necessary preliminary tasks
Detach WHEEL ARCH COVER front section at front
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Gently press lugs (2) apart.
Remove RDC sensor (3) in direction of arrow.
