Disconnect BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL (risk of fire due to shortcircuiting
on removal).

Disconnect NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (risk of fire due to short
circuit on removal).

Removing And Installing Actuator Unit With Control Unit For
Parking Brake (EMF)
Necessary preliminary work
Remove BOTH REAR WHEELS.
IMPORTANT: The following work must only be carried of ISID diagnosis
system with
software version 02.21 or later.
Delete fault memory.
Check function of actuator unit.
If actuator unit is defective, set BMW diagnosis workshop mode.
